Growers and arrangers of seasonal, British cut flowers
Found on their 4th generation farm in the heart of the Nottinghamshire wolds, Caroline and her family lovingly grow their flowers and foliage by hand on a field formerly know as the sheep paddock (but don't worry, the sheep have a new field to munch on!). They work hard through the seasons to ensure that each bloom is perfect and delivered to you within days of being in the field. No air miles, no chemicals, no cellophane.
Armfuls of blooms
We grow beautiful our flowers and foliage in line with the seasons, with flowers and bouquets available from mid-April to the first hard frost (usually mid October). We can supply you with armfuls of blooms to arrange yourself or we can take the strain and make gorgeous bouquets for you or a friend.
We also sell directly to some of the best event and wedding florists in the East Midlands, making their work unique and memorable. If you are a florist looking for British blooms, do get in touch for our weekly availability list.
We wont have a tulip to sell you in July, but what we do have will be the perfect reflection of the very best we have growing in the field that day. And what could be better than that?
Our year starts with those signs of spring - tulips, anenomes, ranunculus and narcissi. Delicate, colourful and scented, just perfect to sweep away the cold and grey of winter.
Summer brings an abundance of blooms and we pick our selections carefully so we grow a wonderfully curated selection of the finest colours and scents. Larkspur, poppies, cornflowers, foxgloves astrantia, cosmos, love-in-a-mist and herbs await us along with many others.
Then as we head into autumn, echinacea, rudbeckia, asters and, of course, dahlias are the stars of the show, arranged with grasses and seedheads for that perfect representation of the season
As the first frosts come, our work slows a little....once we have sown our first batch of seeds for the next year and replenished the growing beds with plenty of compost and organic matter. But now comes the fun part, fire on, cup of tea to hand and seed catelogues to browse.......
